THE KAKIRAK DANCE Nobody knows the origins of the KAKIRAK DANCE. It is believed that the Opataja natives kept it secret for centuries. Today we have the exclusive opportunity to rejoice in a dance whose significance is not really known. According to the natives, pulling out the scalp is a symbol of welcome to foreigners, as well as an ostentation of fertility.
